LEGO Star Wars the Video Game - PS2, Xbox, PC & GBA Preview!

It's finally happened, someone has taken the cool plastic toy LEGO, the awesome gaming power of the Playstation 2, Xbox, PC and GBA systems and the incredible Star Wars movies and has combined it all into one game. The best news is that it hasn't exploded from sheer coolness and will come out in April 2005! Here's the scoop on this wicked looking game from Eidos, the same peeps who brought you Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.

LEGO Star Wars the Video Game - What the Heck?

It sounds wacky, but here's the deal. All the heroes, villains, druids, pod racers, vehicles, starships and adventure from Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Episode II: Attack of the Clones and even Episode III: Revenge of the Sith are LEGO-ized into those cool blocky dudes. Then, they're poured into a video game with a special funnel made by dozens of game designers. When you plug this sucker into your fave game system, you'll be able to play all the coolest scenes from the movies. You can use the force to solve puzzles, battle bad guys, play multiplayer games with friends and more.

Is the Force Strong with LEGO Star Wars the Video Game?

It sounds like it. The whole game is designed to be totally easy to play with lots of options. There are over 30 characters you can play, if you unlock them all, tons of vehicles, two-player "drop in, drop out" mode and even free-play mode where you can play any character in any level. Plus, the soundtrack comes straight from the Star Wars movies.

Final Comments on the LEGO Star Wars Video Game?
