With the Curse of Maraqua expansion set for the [kwlink]Neopets Trading Card Game[/kwlink] just around the corner on February 25, 2005, it's a rough time to be a Neopian. But, we're bringing you [kwlink]sneak peeks[/kwlink] of the cool new changes right here. With the invasion of the [kwlink]Black Pawkeet[/kwlink] pirate ship, the appearance of [kwlink]Nereid, the Water Faerie[/kwlink] and the discovery of the [kwlink]Smuggler's Cove[/kwlink] it's tough to be an ordinary, fun-lovin', Neopet like the [kwlink]Green Scorchio[/kwlink]. So, it's time for a change and here it is!

Something Has Happened to Neopia - Sneak Peek

With all these dangers, the citizens of Neopia need to protect themselves so they're using Maractite Shields for safety! This cool new card is card 108 of the 120-card Curse of Maraqua expansion set for the [kwlink]Neopets TCG[/kwlink] and here's the 411 on what it does.

The Curse of Maraqua Sneak Peek: Maractite Shield

This new Equipment card has arrived to protect all of Neopia. Check out this Neopets Trading Card Game preview from Wizards of the Coast!

Shiny isn't it? But, what good will it do you when there are [kwlink]pirates[/kwlink] attacking? Well, rather than just boosting the wearer's stats, this equipment lets you boost an entire arena full of Neopets and it doesn't matter which arena it is! So, plunk this sucker onto a Neopet then have it move into an arena full of your other Neopets. Sha-zam! Instant super-boost. You'll need two arenas full of Neopets to really make this work. That way the Neopet with the shield can move back and forth, boosting a batch of Neopets each turn.

We're not done yet Neopians! We have more card previews from the Curse of Maraqua expansion and we'll bring you a new one each week until the set drops on February 25, 2005. Here's a look at our earlier preview cards.

When I hear people hating on the Wii U, I am always confused.  For gaming consoles, games, electronics, etc., I try to stay open minded.  I personally have one, and I have found hardly any problems with the system.  First, some problems with it: Only 1 player can use the hand-held screen controller, getting to some places can be hard, and looking up and down to do certain tasks such as changing your system settings can be a hassle. Some benefits of it are: having the ability to use the screen controller, original Wii remote, and any custom or official controller, they fun ability to use the tv or the controller, great games, and the ability to use the screen controller while the tv can be in use to do any other task as watch cable. I think it's a great console! Pretty good graphics and more creative games to be made. The reason that it is hated and unpopular is Nintendo's hatred against making videos on it's games. Those videos spread the knowledge of how much fun it is.
