May 2005 Horoscopes

Kidzworld knows that sometimes it's good to have the heads-up on what's gonna go down in your world. So here's the 411 - according to our astrology chick, Lunar Frost. Check it out and see if your zodiac sign says that the light at the end of the tunnel is something awesome or an oncoming train...

Aries

Aries

March 21 - April 20
Spring is officially here and you can't get enough of the nice weather. Plan to spend as much time outside as you can - whether it's mountain biking or playing soccer after school, this is the perfect time to get active. Just don't forget to slap on lots of sunscreen!

Taurus

Taurus

April 21 - May 20
Happy Birthday Tauruses! If you're planning on having a big birthday bash this month, be sure that things don't get too crazy. The 'rents are more likely to be supportive of a party if you keep things small and intimate. .

Gemini

Gemini

May 21 - June 21
This is going to be a pretty busy month for you. You'll probably get a visit from an old friend or two which is just what you need to lift you out of the funk you've been in for a while. There's nothing like catching up and reminiscing about the good times to brighten your day. Make sure you don't stretch yourself too thin though. If you have lots of homework, don't leave it to the last minute. Just get it out of the way and then chill with your peeps.

Cancer

Cancer

June 22 - July 22
School is wrapping up and you've been totally slacking for the past few months. If you don't hurry up and hit the books soon, you might just find yourself spending your vacation at summer school. How lame would that be?

Leo

Leo
July 23 - August 22
Your mood lately has been all over the place and it's driving your friends crazy. They don't know whether you want to be alone or chill with them. If you have issues with someone, you gotta let them know straight up instead of just putting on a mean face.

Virgo

Virgo
August 23 - September 22
Your BFF recently started dating a guy/girl you'd been crushing on for forever. You probably weren't going to make a move anyway, but if you're bummed that they didn't ask you how you felt first, speak up and say something. It's better to be honest than to carry around pent up frustration.

No. I don't like those people at the mall. Sometimes, they ask my family and I (usually directed at my mom and sister, but sometimes at me, too. Even though I'm under 13. Not for long though.) if they want their hair done. And sometimes I'm so tempted to say, "No thank you. I did my hair today. Do you think I want it done?" But of course I never do. It's kinda disrespectful. So we just usually say No thank you. My mom, sister, and I now have a solution for that (my idea when I was maybe ages 9-11) Don't make eye contact with them and pretend that they aren't there.

Loosing a parent is hard, your dad knows that and I'm sure that he misses your mom just as much as you do. Whether you explain to him how you are feeling or not, you should know that your Dad will always love you and admitting to him how you feel isn't going to change that. Although it is completely understandable how you feel, you need to let your dad move one eventually. It's not fair to him if he has to spend the rest of his life alone. Even though you might not see it, its a good thin that your dad is finally feeling comfortable enough to date. It doesn't mean that he is letting go of your mom or that he will forget about her, it means that he is moving on with his life. You lost your mother and he lost the love of his life. Dating other people will probably start off being just as hard for him as it is for you. My advice is that you talk to your dad. Let him know how you feel in the most gentle and understanding way that you can. Don't flat out say that you don't want him dating anyone, tell him that you still miss your mom and its hard to see him with other people. Let me know how it goes, good luck. :)
