  • As the title suggests, this is the fourth soundtrack from The OC. The third disc was their Christmas compilation.
  • Matt Pond PA's track Champagne Supernova is a cover of the song originally sung by British bad boys, Oasis.
  • The track Scarecrow by Beck can also be found on his new disc, Guero.
  • Several of the bands featured on The OC Mix 4 have played shows at The Bait Shop (you know, the club that Alex used to work at!).
  • The cover of The OC Mix 4 features sketches from Seth's graphic novel, Atomic County.

Really that's dumb. Ok that Iis just my opinion. But really that's dumb.
