Psychonauts: Free PC Game Demo

Welcome to psychic summer camp where everybody gets trained to be an elite psychic soldier! In Psychonauts you play as Raz, a freaky lookin' kid with massive psychic powers and it's up to you to solve the mystery of what's making all the bad stuff go down. Here's the scoop on the game, and how to test drive the demo for free!

Putting the Psycho in Psychonaut

Playing Psychonauts as Raz means you get a whole bunch of cool powers you can use to kick butt. Raz can thump things with a PSI Blast, skateboard around on stray thoughts and more! But, you'll need to use all his powers to put a stop to the lunatic who's causing trouble in the heart of the Psychonauts training camp!

Downloading the Psychonauts Free PC Game Demo

If you can't read Gary's brain to see how to score this free game demo, you should check out these step-by-step instructions on how to get it. Once it's yours, you'll be able to play through "Basic Braining" with Raz and a class of psychics!

1. Click Here to go to the Psychonauts home page.

2. Click on the swimmy guy once the page has loaded. Aaaaaah! Run from the giant brain! No, wait, that's supposed to be there.

3. Move your mouse onto the upper-middle of the brain so a big red thing pops up and says "New Recruits" and click on that part of the brain.

4. You'll end up on a new page and the scary brain will be a lot smaller. You'll need to give up your email address and pick a username here so fill out the info and hit the "Register" button.

5. Now, click the "Gray Matter" link in the upper left.

6. Welcome to the downloads page! Next to the guy with the huge head and the goggles is a "Download the PC demo" link. Right-click it and choose to "Save Target As…"

7. A popup will, um, pop up and ask you where to save the file. Save it to your desktop so it'll be easy to find later.

8. It's a 460 MB file so, while it's downloading, concentrate really hard on your Mom doing your homework, cleaning your room and making pie for dinner. If this works, congratulations, you have psychic powers!

9. Once Psychonauts has downloaded, unzip it onto your desktop.

10. Once Psychonauts is unzipped, double-click it to start installing it.

11. Once the Psychonauts game demo is installed, it's time to melt some brains!

Melting brains isn't easy, you have to have a computer with this kind of power to make Psychonauts work.
Operating System: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP.
Processor: 1.0 GHz required, 2.0 GHz recommended.
RAM: 256 MB RAM required, 512 MB RAM recommended.
Hard Drive: 4.5 GB free space.
Video Card: 64MB video card required, 128MB video card recommended.
DirectX: DirectX 9.0 or higher.
