Sick of getting soaked in the ocean with the Curse of Maraqua expansion set for the Neopets card game? Well come dry your bones in the Lost Desert! It's the next 100-card expansion for the Neopets TCG and we have the scoop on what you'll find in the dry wastes - everything from new Neopets to lost cities and powerful villains! Here's a look at the set with previews of two new cards - the villainous Scordrax the Furious and a new Neopet, a Green Ruki.

Scordrax is great for making your opponent use two Neopets to battle him - either you'll be able to bank extra treasure or they won't battle him! Unfortunately, if he gets beaten, it sucks for you. The best card here though is the Green Ruki, he has a good Str, everything else is decent and he powers up on your turn when you draw a card! it's a basic Neopet that can have a nine Str easily, wow.

These curses are a great way to mess up your opponent's Neopets. Drop one of these on a Neopet, then challenge it and you'll walk all over it. They're especially cool if you're building a deck that is weak in one arena, pack in a few curses to cover your weakness and you're all set!

These cards are both great to play early in your turn. If you can win a contest and score the Fyora Faerie Doll, you'll win more contests easily! And, if you can play Nuria at the start of your turn, you'll kick butt in the rest of the contests for that turn.
