You have to be 16 and up to be a lifegaurd at our local parks that has pools. I am CPR certified when I took Health Last Year in 9th grade. One of our units was first aid and Emergency situations. We had to take turns to do CPR and they used sanitizer where we had to breathe into the those dummies like.
