Follow the adventures of the
Black Belt Club as they go on a secret mission to defeat the
Death Master in
Seven Wheels of Power.
Seven Wheels of Power - Welcome To The Black Belt Club
Seven Wheels of Power is the first book in the
Black Belt Club series of
martial arts adventures, which follows four young karate students,
Max, Maia, Antonio, and Jamie. In the
Seven Wheels of Power, the four members of
the BBC must use their
martial arts to defeat the
Death Master - the darkest force in the universe, which has threatened to end all life and create a world of
horror and fear! Pretty scary stuff... even if you have a
black belt in karate. As the four work together to defeat the
Dark Master, they must each use
courage, intelligence and abilities they never even knew they had.
Seven Wheels of Power - Martial Arts Adventure and Lessons
Seven Wheels of Power is part novel, part comic book and part
karate instruction manual. In this first story of the
Black Belt Club, you'll follow the adventures of the of the BBC, while learning a bunch of cool
karate moves and terms. At the back of the book, you'll find great illustrations of basic
karate moves including
kicks, punches and blocks.
Seven Wheels of Power - Bottom Line
The Black Belt Club series is written by sensei,
Dawn Barnes, who has a third-degree black belt and has been
teaching kids karate for years. In the
Seven Wheels of Power, she does a great job of bringing basic karate instruction into a
comic-book novel. You won't learn enough karate from this book to become a black belt, but it's a good book for those who are interested in
martial arts or are thinking about taking real karate lessons some day. The reading level is
pretty easy, so some readers might find the Seven Wheels of Power a bit too basic. But for martial arts fans who want a
great adventure and to learn some karate basics as well, it's a worthwhile read.
