American Idol 5 - Audition Checklist
As always, you have to be 16 to 28 years old to be eligible to audition. On the big day, you'll need to bring two pieces of identification, like a birth certificate, driver's license or school ID card, and a completed registration form that you can download off the American Idol website. If you're under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You can sing any song you want, but be prepared to sing a cappella (without music).American Idol 5 - Audition Locations
