Electronic Arts is the king of sports video games and the Madden football games are some of their best. So, what's the deal with the brand-new Madden NFL 06 video game for Gamecube, Playstation 2 and Xbox? Here's the scoop with our game review!

New Tricks in Madden NFL 2006

There are two big changes in this game. The first is Quarterback Vision � an option that takes a while to get used to, but makes passing more realistic by making it so you can't see much of the field at once. The other is Superstar Mode where you create a player, from his parents to his 'tude and then get to control his career. Other than that, it's a basic Madden NFL football video game.

Fumbles in Madden NFL 2006

Think that the vision-limiting Quarterback Vision mode sucks? Wrong! It's actually really cool once you get the hang of it. But, the Superstar Mode is buggy and weak. The final fumble is that all the bugs from Madden NFL 2005 are still in Madden NFL 2006.

The Final Play in Madden NFL 2006

The Quarterback Vision is a cool new option for hardcore players and the Superstar Mode is almost awesome. Other than, that there's nothing about this game that you can't get from Madden NFL 2005. So, unless you're a Madden fan, check the discount bin of your fave game store for a copy of that game and save $20!
