T.J. Lavin Biography

T.J. Lavin is one of the best BMX dirt jumpers of all time. From the X Games to the Gravity Games, he's won just about every comp he's entered. On top of that, T.J. has a video game and a Schwinn BMX bike named after him. Check out this bio and some sweet pictures of BMX master, T.J. Lavin.

T.J. Lavin - Born To Ride

T.J. Lavin was born on December 7, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He first started riding bikes when he was two and raced BMX until he was 15, when he gave up racing to try dirt jumping. The big air and creativity of dirt jumping had T.J. hooked on the sport and he dominated dirt jumping competitions across the United States, before turning pro at the age of 19.

T.J. Lavin - King of BMX

T.J. Lavin has become one of the most dominant riders in BMX dirt jumping. Lavin's huge superman tricks and unique style has made him a winner at the biggest action sports events, including the X Games and Dew Action Sports Tour. But Lavin does much more than just ride BMX bikes - he also spends hours creating new obstacles to ride, and spends as much time building jumps as he does flying over them. Lavin has a one-acre BMX track in his backyard which includes several groomed trails and dirt jumps.

    It's definitely an American thing - here in Australia we have like no Cheerleaders or Cheerleading groups. I think it's a sport but I'm not really into it. I think any girls or boys can do it. :3
