UNO Attack! Review

UNO Attack! Review - Reviewed by Kidzworld on Dec 27, 2006
( Rating: 5 Star Rating)

With new rules and a random card launcher, UNO Attack puts some new twists on the classic family card game. Kidzworld reviews and shows you how to play this new card game for kids.

UNO Attack! adds some new twists to this classic card game with a random rapid-fire launcher. The object of the game is still to get rid of all the cards in your hand, but this updated version has some new cards and rules. Instead of selecting cards from the top of the deck, you press the button on the random card launcher, which will shoot out anywhere between 0 and 9 cards. So, you might get lucky and not have to pick up any or you may end up with a ton of new cards in your hand. UNO Attack! has also added a "Change Hands" card, which lets you swap hands with any other player. The new cards and the card launcher makes the game a little less predictable but it's still as fun as the original.

The big downside to UNO Attack! is that the card-launcher takes three C size batteries which aren't included - that's a lot of juice and added expense for a something that simply shoots out a few cards. Overall, UNO Attack! is a highly addictive game that's easy to learn and fun to play with a big group of [KWLINK 2374[b]friends or family.

UNO Attack - Thumbs Up

  • Very addictive - just like the original, you can play UNO Attack! for hours.
  • Great social game for playing with family and friends.
  • New cards! The swap hands card and the random launcher adds some new twists to the game.
  • UNO Attack! - Thumbs Down

  • The extra price you pay for the launcher is a bit too much.
  • The UNO Attack! launcher takes three monsterous C size batteries - not included. Launcher could have been made a bit simpler, without requiring so much battery power.

UNO Attack! - Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?

    • Thumbs up - card launcher is super cool.
    • Thumbs down - card launcher is a lame gimmick. The original UNO is best.
    • I think both games are cool.

Oh trust me, I know a pc is better. But when a console is slower then a console that is technically weaker. That is just, bad.

The internet browser on the PS4 is BAD not as bad as internet explorer 6 but still pretty bad. I will start with the little things., It is slower then the Wii U's browser (Wii U is an inferior console in terms of processing power.) Scrolling on the PS4 has been dumped down. While the PS3's browser wasn't as good. At least it could scroll smoothly. When you get too much cache on your browser, the browser will load slower, and when you type it takes for ever for the PS4 to register the letter that you have selected.

The playstation 1's Spyro/Crash beats most of Nintendo games in terms of fun and quality. I tend to get bored of Mario faster then getting bored of Spyro. Because Mario tends to reuse the same enemies and same gameplay. Not including spin ops. Spyro does use the same concepts but there are also little challenges which kinda give the the player a break away from the game.
