Paul Walker - Into the Movie Biz

Paul Walker, like many actors before him, got his start as a model. His first acting roles came early in his life though, mostly in the form of commercials. By the time he was 13, Paul was already landing roles on TV shows like Charles in Charge, Who's the Boss and Diff'rent Strokes. Then, in 1993, Paul scored a part on the soap The Young and the Restless - he was only on the show for a year, but it was enough to really get things started for Paul.

Throughout the late '90s Paul Walker dominated the big screen in flicks like Pleasantville (alongside Reese Witherspoon and Tobey Maguire), She's All That and Varsity Blues. Clearly these movies were just a warm-up for Paul who went on to make a real name for himself in the 2001 street-racing flick The Fast and the Furious, with action-hero Vin Diesel. A sequel followed in 2003, but Paul's sidekick Vin did not return.
