We review the music-loving i-dog virtual pet from Hasbro.

What's better than a dancin' dog that digs your fave tunes? The iDog from Hasbro is a cute little plastic puppy, about the same size as a CD, that bobs its head and wiggles its ears to the tune of whatever music you're listening to. Plus, you can plug it in to your stereo, PC or discman and it'll sing along.

What's really cool about an iDog is that it has personality. It has a bunch of blinky lights on it that tell you how it's feeling. If it's sad, playing it some tunes, poking it's nose and petting its head will cheer it up. When it's happy, it'll bark and even play some of its fave beats back at you. It's a cool way to get a puppy to play with, but you can pause it when you want a break and it'll never poop on your shoes!

iDog - Thumbs Up

  • It gets a personality, depending on the music you play it.
  • It's blinking lights tell you if it's happy or sad.
  • Plug it into any stereo/discman, or just let it hang out where music is playing.
  • It shakes its head and wiggles its ears along to any tune.
  • iDog - Thumbs Down

  • Only the head moves so its dance moves are weak.
  • It has a tinny-sounding bark.
  • iDog Rating: 4
    Age: 8 and up
    Price Range: 2

The first game came out in 1991  ;) Anyway, I love Sonic! I stink at the games though lol My favorite characters are Knuckles and Charmy And I agree that this is the best single-player game ever!

At least you aren't restricted to TTC/or be only able to try the 3-day trial.  We're actually very lucky now; nonmembers don't give Disney a lick of money. I think Toontown is very different from Club Penguin.  It has a full plot and it's 3-Dimensional.  Also, you don't really do all that much in Club Penguin other than chat and do some mini-missions.  Also, the games were targeted to a different audience... and I feel that Toontown has more memories than Club Penguin; though that may be a bit biased as I don't really have any friends on Club Penguin (LOL), don't really play anymore anyway.

It's like club penguin, I've played it before and you have to pay for almost everything.
