Xbox 360: Flaws and Fixes

The Xbox 360 has arrived! But, some of 'em can crash, scratch game discs and are a little messed up. If yours is acting funky, call Microsoft's help line at: 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they'll help you fix it or replace it.

Here's a tip for your Xbox 360. If the "On" light turns orange, it means it's overheating. Turn it off and move it to somewhere cooler.

Child's Play Charity: Video Games for Sick Kids

The coolest gamer charity in the world has gone worldwide! Now, when you donate $$$ to help them get video games to sick kids who're stuck in hospitals, it goes to hospitals in Canada and Britain as well. Go check out their site at: www.childsplaycharity.org

The Nintendo DS Mario Kart game lets you play against peeps online with the new Nintendo Wi-Fi setup and since it launched on Wednesday November 16, 2005, it's gone crazy! Tons of gamers are racing online right now so it looks like the DS going online is a smash success.

Pirates vs. Kung Fu Card Games

The peeps behind the Yu-Gi-Oh! and Vs. System card games have two new card games coming out early in 2006 - Pirates of the Caribbean and Avatar: The Last Airbender. The biggest news is that these two games both use the "Quickstrike" card game system, so you can play them together and have Captain Jack Sparrow duel against Aang!

Xbox 360 Game Console Launches Tonight!

Microsoft calls it Zero Hour but folks with a calendar call it midnight, November 21, 2005. That's when you can head to your fave local video game store to buy yourself an Xbox 360 - if you're lucky! Rumor is they're in short supply and even the folks who pre-ordered one might not get one. Call a few stores and see if any of 'em have consoles, then pack a sleeping bag and dinner and camp out so you can get one! Just remember, don't buy the discount system, it's junkola!
