Sindy: Are you still based in your hometown or have you moved?
Carrie Underwood: I just bought a house in Tennessee.
Sindy: Is that your biggest purchase you've made?
Carrie Underwood: Yeah.
Sindy: Did you buy friends or family anything?
Carrie Underwood: No, gotta take care of myself first.
Sindy: Good plan. So do you keep in touch with anyone from the show?
Carrie Underwood: I talk to Anthony Fedorov and Lindsey Cardinale.
Sindy: Did you have a favorite judge while you were on American Idol?
Carrie Underwood: Surprisingly enough, I think I'd have to say Simon. He was always in my corner. From past years, I always felt like he said what it was and that was it, but I respected his opinion a lot just because I felt he was paid to tell the truth.
Sindy: Did you have favorite contestants from previous seasons?
Carrie Underwood: I always liked George Huff. I think he's so funny.
Sindy: Have you had the opportunity to meet a lot of past Idols?
Carrie Underwood: I've met Clay, Fantasia, George, LaToya... I think that's it.
Sindy: How was the Idol tour experience?
Carrie Underwood: It was a really good learning experience cuz we had to play at packed houses every night.
Sindy: Are you going to be on tour for your new album?
Carrie Underwood: Some time early next year.
Sindy: What's your favorite movie?
Carrie Underwood: I love horror movies, so any old horror movie like any Halloween movies or Nightmare on Elm Street.
Sindy: How about favorite TV show?
Carrie Underwood: Desperate Housewives.
Sindy: Favorite actor or actress?
Carrie Underwood: Actor - Johnny Depp, actress - Drew Barrymore.
Sindy: Do you have a favorite Drew Barrymore movie?
Carrie Underwood: Never Been Kissed.
Sindy: That's a good one! Do you have any celebrity crushes?
Carrie Underwood: I hate when people ask me that question cuz now I'm in the position where they could actually read it. I don't want to embarrass myself!
Sindy: Favorite food?
Carrie Underwood: Cheese pizza.
Sindy: Item of clothing you couldn't live without?
Carrie Underwood: Sunglasses are quite versatile. I usually put it in my hair when I'm having a bad hair day.
Sindy: What do you have playing on your iPod right now?
Carrie Underwood: I have everything on there. I have oldies, I have everything.
Sindy: So do you have big Thanksgiving Day plans?
Carrie Underwood: I'm going to be in the Macy Day Parade, so I'll be in New York.
Sindy: What's on your Christmas wish list?
Carrie Underwood: I need things for my house, so any decoration item or any necessity cuz I don't have anything!
Sindy: Do you have any advice for kids who might want to get into the music industry?
Carrie Underwood: Hold on, try your best and have a backup plan.
Sindy: Did you have a backup plan?
Carrie Underwood: I do, I'm actually graduating college in May.
