Sabrina Bryan Interview

By: Sindy

Sabrina Bryan of The Cheetah Girls is reaching out to girls through fitness by teaching them to be healthy, be happy and be you! That's the name of the DVD - BYOU - which comes out in January 2006. Until then, check out my interview with Sabrina Bryan!

Sindy: You have a cool new workout DVD for kids called BYOU. Tell us what it's all about!
Sabrina Bryan: It's about getting people - girls mainly - to start moving their bodies and living a healthier lifestyle.

Sindy: How important is it for kids and teens to stay fit?
Sabrina Bryan: It's so important! It's not just to get them to lose weight, it's more about being conscious of their bodies so they can take care of them.

Sindy: So do you work out a lot?
Sabrina Bryan: Yeah, I do. Right now, I'm doing the Cheetah Girls tour so I'm rehearsing every day from 11AM to 8 at night.

Sindy: What's the Cheetah Girls tour all about?
Sabrina Bryan: We're going on a holiday tour. We're going to be in New York from December 17th, 2005

Sindy: Cool! Okay, back to BYOU - how'd you come up with the name?
Sabrina Bryan: It's something that's reaching out to young girls to not try to look at other people or the media and try to mimic them, for them to find out what's special about them and to just be themselves.

Sindy: And when does the DVD drop?
Sabrina Bryan: It's coming out January 17th, 2005.

Sindy: We'll be sure to pick up a copy!
Sabrina Bryan: Oh great!

Sindy: We're also looking forward to your upcoming debut solo album. How's that going?
Sabrina Bryan: Good. We're in the works of getting everything processed and stuff, but it's good. I'm going to be working overtime to try to get it out.

Sindy: What kind of music will be featured on your album?
Sabrina Bryan: It's going to be a hybrid of a lot of stuff. Obviously dance beats cuz I love to dance, but mixing it with different genres.

Sindy: If you could collaborate with one singer in the world, who would it be and why?
Sabrina Bryan: Ummm I don't know! It'd be hard to find out someone who I would want to collaborate with. I love Gwen Stefani's music, and Madonna - they're both so innovative that it'd be really cool to see what kind of creative process with them would be like.

Sindy: Who are your favorite singers?
Sabrina Bryan: Gwen and Madonna, Britney and Janet. I love performers who you can watch forever.

Sindy: What's playing on your iPod or CD player right now?
Sabrina Bryan: I was going to go out and get the new Madonna soundtrack, of course! I always have a mix of stuff, from hip hop to bands.

Sindy: Do you have a favorite song of the moment?
Sabrina Bryan: My favorite song right now is Mariah Carey's new single, Don't Forget About Us.

Mickey_feature In 2001 Disney released a Christmas Special called Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse. Now, eight long years later (and just in time for the holidays), the same movie is being re-released on DVD.
Mj_feature Even though This Is It is not really a movie for kids, and some of you may not want to or be allowed to watch it, we thought we'd review it for you because so many kids out there love Michael Jackson.
