New Cards and New Powers in Fatal Brood of Infinite Ruin

The new card powers for this Duel Masters set are weird 'cuz they don't have names like "Turbo Rush" - they're just cards that do stuff. There are four of 'em and here's what they're all about.

Destruction Powers - Lots of creatures in this set have powers that activate when they get destroyed.

Summoning Powers - Other creatures have powers that activate when you summon them.

Race Boosts - If you have a fave race, you're in luck! New cards let you power up an entire race.

Unblocked Attack Boost - These critters have powers that activate when they attack and aren't blocked.

Good Powers and Butt-Kicking Monsters!

The new powers in this set are awesome! They let you search your deck for more cards, bring cards back from the graveyard, destroy your opponent's Mana and more. There are a dozen new ways to draw extra cards in this set! Plus, Jil Warka, Time Guardian is the best blocker ever and Necrodragon Izorist Vhal is a butt-kicking new dragon that goes great with Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos decks!

Duel Masters: Fatal Flaws and Weak Creatures

What's really missing from this set is huge creatures. Most of the creatures cost a lot and have weird abilities rather than lots of power. There aren't any cheap creatures either, so it's hard to build a deck with this set. And some cards, like Steam Rumbler Kain and Terradragon Anrist Vhal, suck so hard you can vacuum the carpet with 'em!

The Final Word on the Fatal Brood Expansion for Duel Masters

With lots of funky powers and weird creatures, this set is great if you already play and want to power-up your decks. But, if you're new to the Duel Masters card game, grab some Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos cards instead!
