D&D Miniatures: Underdark Expansion Set Review

Reviewed by on Dec 27, 2006
Rating: 5 Star Rating

We review the Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures: Underdark expansion set full of evil elves, spiders and monsters!

The Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures game dropped a while ago and gave you a horde of monsters to command in fantasy battles against your friends. The Underdark set adds all the icky things that lurk in underground caves. It has evil elves, tons of spiders, and a giant monster that looks like the freaky Balrog from The Lord of the Rings movies. There are also new Epic heroes and monsters with incredible powers that make great leaders for your armies. Each Underdark Booster box has eight monsters that you can collect, like card games. The figures look way better than the original D&D Miniatures game and have lots of abilities you can use to smash your opponent's critters. The biggest problem is that there are so many abilities the rules can get confusing!
