I never thought I'd actually be glad to be going to school. Yeah, that's right - I was counting down the days and minutes for my Spring Break to come to an end. This had to be one of the worst Spring Breaks of my life. My mom actually took a week off work so she could make sure I spent the week studying, instead of hanging out with friends or watching TV. I spent more time memorizing state capitals than skateboarding. When she did let me take a break from studying - it was because she wanted me to help her around the house. I felt like I was on that show Prison Break, without any chance of escape.
The only thing that saved me was my dog Ralph. There's a reason dogs are called man's best friend. They really come through for you when you need them. He took a crap on the kitchen floor, so my mom made me take him out for a long walk and poop 'n scoop the back yard. Even though that wasn't the most pleasant job, it at least gave me a chance to get out of the house.
But now that spring has arrived, things are looking up. The weather is nice, skateparks are open, I'm going to be on the track team this year and thanks to my slave-driver mom, I'm actually on top of my homework. What are you looking forward to this spring? .

This Spring Break I was meant to be going to a fair but I can't, bummer. Anyway I am soon going camping so let me know what you guys are doing and I'll catch up with ya pretty soon.
