Naruto: Clash of Ninja: Gamecube Video Game Review
If you're a fan of the Naruto anime TV show about Naruto Uzumaki, ex-demon ninja-in-training, you're in luck. You can now leap into battle with Naruto and his friends with the Naruto: Clash of Ninja game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Here's our review of the ninja-riffic fighting game action.
Battle Basics for Naruto: Clash of NinjaThis Naruto game is a basic fighting game. There are eight characters from the Naruto anime that you can choose to battle with. Each has basic attacks and combos you can unleash. You can play in single-player or two-player modes, plus there are extra modes for training your ninja skills and battling waves of enemies.
Crazy Ninja Battles and Moves in Naruto: Clash of NinjaNot only is it easy to unleash seriously cool moves in Naruto: Clash of Ninja, you have a Chakra Bar that fills up as you battle and can power-up your moves. If you fill it up, you can even unleash a special move. The coolest thing though is the "Puff of smoke" ninja-dodge that lets your character appear behind your opponent!
Dumb Stuff in Naruto: Clash of NinjaIt's easy to learn all the moves in Naruto: Clash of Ninja, because there aren't very many! If you're a fighting game fan, you'll pwn this game in about two hours. The story mode is weak since you can only play as Naruto, and the other modes are pretty limited.
Naruto: Clash of Ninja - Apprentice or Master? This is a decent fighting game, with excellent graphics, that's easy enough for anyone to pick up and battle like a ninja master. It's weak compared to hardcore fighting games, but it's great for Naruto fans who really want to kick some butt with the ex-nine-tailed fox demon and his buddies.
