Anna Paquin - International Upbringing
Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada to teacher parents. She has a brother named Andrew and a sister named Katya. She moved to New Zealand when she was four, where she played a skunk in a school play and caught the acting bug. She snagged her first Hollywood role when she was 11, playing Flora McGrath in The Piano. She won an Academy Award for the performance making her the second youngest Oscar winner ever. After her parents' divorce, she moved to LA where she finished high school.
