Look out
Sheryl Crow, there's a new rock goddess in town. Cheyenne Kimball is the 15 year-old
singer-songwriter who you'll probably recognize from her
MTV reality series,
Cheyenne. Cheyenne's bluesy/rock
guitar riffs, soulful voice and
refreshingly naïve lyrics are bound to win you over. Tracks like Breaking Your Heart and Hanging On showcase her impressive talent but a few tracks (Didn't I, Full Circle) are as
generic and stale as week-old Wonderbread. Still, the girl shows huge potential, so pick up the album if you get a chance - it might just be worth something one day.
Cheyenne - The Day Has Come Fun Facts
Hanging On, the lead single from The Day Has Come, peaked at number 75 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Dashboard Confessional - Dusk and Summer
Dashboard Confessional's usual
acoustic rock has been kicked up a notch on Dusk and Summer but its customary
end-of-summer vibe remains. Frontman Chris Carrabba plays the part of
hopeless romantic on tracks like Stolen and Dusk And Summer, which make the
tried-and-true link between a fading summer and
fading romance just a tad too cliché. But,
The Secret's In The Telling and
Rooftops and Invitations are brilliant blends of acoustic guitar and good old-fashioned rock. This is definitely a disk for those of you who like your emo with an
extra helping of fromage.
Dashboard Confessional - Dusk and Summer Fun Facts
So Long, So Long was available for download in the summer of 2005 on the band's website but the version that appears on Dusk and Summer is an updated version.
Chris Carrabba returned to some of his childhood neighborhoods for inspiration to write the songs on this album.
There are two hidden tracks before the first track on Dusk and Summer.
