Madden NFL 07: Xbox 360 Football Video Game Review
Courtesy of EAEA's Madden football returns with Madden NFL '07 for the Xbox 360! How does the great-grandaddy football video game handle on Microsoft's super-powerful game system? Gary tossed the digital pigskin around, and checked out the powered-up superstar mode, to bring you his Madden NFL '07 game review!
Madden Football Video Game Basics
This game brings you the classic American game of
football, with the
best players and
teams, but with you in charge of the show! You can control your
fave team, in
online and offline games for tons of
football action. Or, you can create a
football superstar of your own and live his life as he
trains for the
big games, gets interviewed by the press, hires an agent and makes the
game-winning plays!
Touchdowns and End Zone Celebrations in Madden NFL '07
It starts with the graphics - wow! From the
realistic faces to the grass of the field, the
Xbox 360 makes
Madden NFL '07 look great. It's also fun to play, especially the new option to
control your blockers as you run with the ball. The biggest booya has to be the upgraded
Superstar Mode though - it has more options and fewer bugs than in
Madden NFL '06.
Fumbles, Interceptions and Groin Pulls!
The biggest problem with
Madden NFL '07 is that it's a bit
buggy. There's
some lag and stuttering in
online games, the
fatigue-ometer is messed and there are a few other items that don't work properly. It won't ruin your game, but it's
annoying.
Madden NFL '07 - All-Star or Bench Warmer?
If you want
football, this is the game for you! From the wicked graphics to the gameplay options, it'll keep you up to your thumbs in
sports action for ages. Even with a few bugs, it's still a touchdown of a game.
Madden NFL '07 Thumbs Up:
Superstar mode is awesome!
Incredible graphics and life-like players.

Madden NFL '07 Thumbs Down:
Fatigue doesn't work properly.
The ultimate opponent: online lag!
