Get Knitting With Klutz

Everywhere you turn someone is trying to tell you that "knitting is cool again" but the fact is that knitting never really went out of style. We're not talking your grandma's knitted kitten sweaters here! Check out this wicked, wooly craft!

Klutz Knitting - Cast On, Cast Off

Klutz Knitting has the instructions and materials to take you from the most basic steps of knitting (holding the needles, winding the yarn into a ball) to more complicated elements like creating wooly hats and making stripes. It breaks each task down into its simplest elements and uses a ton of great illustrations to give you a visual nudge in the right direction. In fact, some of the directions actually get a little confusing because they break things down too much. Once you've got the basics down, Klutz shows you how to make projects like scarves, hats, purses and cell phone cases. Okay, the cell phone case is a little nerdy. With this kit, you'll soon be knitting like Madonna, Hilary Swank, Cameron Diaz, Winona Ryder, Rose McGowan, Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker and a ton of other celebs.

Klutz Knitting - Thumbs Up

  • Clear point-by-point instructions with accompanying illustrations.
  • Clear advice for buying more wool, needles and other supplies.
  • Tons of different projects to make.
  • Klutz Knitting - Thumbs Down

  • Directions can be so overly simple that it actually makes things more difficult to understand (that's what we call a paradox!).
  • Some of the suggested projects are super-nerdy (like the cell phone case and wallet).

Why does it annoy you for people to be who they truly are?  if they truly feel like a boy or truly feel like a girl and want to switch, then that is fine. but you cannot truly feel like something that doesnt exist.  the gender fluid thing annoys me because the person gets annoyed if you get the pronoun wrong. they could be wearing a dress but be feeling like a guy that day, so if i say "her" the person gets mad. how was I supposed to know?

---- When the rain drops There will be no sun It's okay that We must learn It isn't bad when The thunder rolls When the lightning strikes, and It may be frightening to experience But There will be a rainbow Even after the worst of storms ---- ---- "Don't hold your breath" They said, "Your dreams will crumble so" "Just as quickly as they were built" He listened to those words As his life went on He lost all hope for his future He can't say he was prepared for The negative reality, They thought they were warning him They were only breaking him when They took away his childhood. ---- What's interesting about these two poems is that they can be read starting from the first line and going down, but they can also be read starting from the bottom line going up.
