Tom Cruise, as

in the field in order to teach up-and-coming agents. But, when one of his proteges,

crazy chases, crashes and
explosions.
#4. Best Movies of 2006 - Dreamgirls
Three young, hopeful starlets get the
break of a lifetime when they are offered a gig to sing back up for the legendary
James "Thunder" Early in Dreamgirls and soon they're headlining their own shows. But success is often a cruel mistress. Not only is this
a great story of the music industry's manipulation of artists to
sell albums, it also showcases some really
amazing vocal talents - namely those of
Jennifer Hudson.
#3. Best Movies of 2006 - X-Men: The Last Stand
When
a cure for mutantism is discovered, mutants turn against each other - and the company that created the cure - in a dramatic and fast paced story that introduces a host of new characters. Neither
Magneto's angry mob nor
Professor Xavier's X-Men want to see the cure used as a weapon but they have serious differences of opinion on what to do about it - leading to the
mutant battle to end all mutant battles. Expect some kick-butt
special effects!.
#2. Best Movies of 2006 - Marie Antoinette
Sophia Coppola's flick Marie Antoinette is, above anything else, one of the
prettiest movies you'll have seen in a long time. The movie tells the tale of the former Queen of
France and begins on the day she finds out she'll be setting out from her native land of Austria to marry the
Dauphin of France - at the young age of 14. Marie Antoinette is
a beautiful movie that has something for everyone - but a little more for girls who have a weakness for
pretty things.
#1. Best Movies of 2006 - Pirates of the Caribbean 2
After releasing himself and the crew who
mutinied against him, you would think Captain Jack Sparrow would be living the high life. But instead he soon realizes he still has many debts to settle in
the open sea - in particular, a very important one with
Davy Jones. Davy Jones and his crew of
barnacled scallywags look spectacular and the on-going
sword play will keep you entertained the whole way through. This is a
definite must-see!
