That is wrong, we don't celebrate that, is like a normal day, I don't know why is more celebrated on U.S.A. We only celebrate November 20th (revolution's day) and September 15th (independence day)

Yeah... no. It's not a big holiday at all.
Cinco de Mayo is nowadays a mostly American holiday.
We don't actually celebrate this at all, in Mexico or in the states, it's actually seen more as an Americanized made up holiday than anything else. Some Mexicans are actually pretty annoyed about it all and some view it as racist.
I love Mexico, Mexican food, everything about Mexico....especially fish tacos
