The Cheetah Girls: Gameboy Advance Video Game Review

The Cheetah Girls need your help to get their thang on and make it big with Growl Power on the GBA!
Courtesy of Buena Vista Games

Galleria, Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda are The Cheetah Girls, a bunch of hard-working New York girls with a band and a dream of music stardom! Their story is told in the Cheetah Girls movies, but their new GBA video game lets you play as the girls and help them rock their way to fame and fortune! Here’s Gary’s game review.

The Cheetah Girls Gaming Action!

Getting the girls’ growl power on is done with a bunch of mini-games! You’ll be hitting buttons to keep up with a beat, making fashions on demand and more. Plus the girls need you to help them get around their neighborhood for all their appointments and gigs. Winning games scores you Rep, get enough and The Cheetah Girls will become a hit band!

Growl-tastic Cheetah Girl Gaming Fun

The DDR-style dance action is fun, but hookin' up all your gigs and appointments with a cell phone is awesome! Especially when you can use it to unlock special dance challenges and more. Getting to play as all four of the girls is also pretty cool, especially when some levels split you up so the girls are all over town running errands and coordinating by cell phone!

Cheetah Girls Fashion Disasters!

The biggest bummer is that the Growl Power bonus stage can pop up when you’re hitting a button, which will dump you out of the level. A half-second delay would have been handy! Some of the fashion games are weird too, cuz if something is called a "purple top" it can mean it's a purple top or an orange top with a teensy-tiny purple dot on it.

Cheetah Girls: Videogame Divas or Fashion Flops?

The Growl Power part of The Cheetah Girls is a hoot! It’s full of fun game modes, cool things you can do with the girls and codes you can discover. Even with a few glitches, it’s still a fun game for music and fashion fans.

Cheetah Girls Thumbs Up:

  • Control all four girls.
  • Cell phone codes and bonus modes, sweet!.
  • Dance like a Cheetah Girl with the DDR action.
  • Cheetah Girls Thumbs Down:

  • Growl Power bonus stages sneak up on you!
  • The fashion games are confusing.

Okay, it's not a major console or PC game, but the "How to Train Your Dragon" game just became free so I thought I'd share. I absolutely loved "How to Train Your Dragon," so I was so happy when I saw this app finally become free. It's so fun for a simple puzzle mobile game! It's so well-done, AND YOU CAN PLAY AS TOOTHLESS. Ahh, it's the best! Just thought I'd share this with you all in case there are other "How to Train Your Dragon" fans out there!

Well Wittzle Pro is a mental math card game. It's where you have to roll dice to find a target number and look for an equation using three numbers in the same row, colum,or diagonal. When you find it you yell wittzle and you call out your equation. If you get it right you get the point.

The first game came out in 1991  ;) Anyway, I love Sonic! I stink at the games though lol My favorite characters are Knuckles and Charmy And I agree that this is the best single-player game ever!

At least you aren't restricted to TTC/or be only able to try the 3-day trial.  We're actually very lucky now; nonmembers don't give Disney a lick of money. I think Toontown is very different from Club Penguin.  It has a full plot and it's 3-Dimensional.  Also, you don't really do all that much in Club Penguin other than chat and do some mini-missions.  Also, the games were targeted to a different audience... and I feel that Toontown has more memories than Club Penguin; though that may be a bit biased as I don't really have any friends on Club Penguin (LOL), don't really play anymore anyway.
