Get the Look :: Beyonce

Beyonce is such a dazzling diva that you'll never see her without her high heels and blingin' jewelry. We know you can't exactly wear sequins and stilettos to school every day, but you can be Beyonce for a day by playing dress up at home with your gal pals! Check out how to get her style right here.

Glamorous, Fabulous and Bootylicious

You might hate wearing what your mama tells you to wear, but Beyonce doesn't mind one bit. Big name designers would love to dress her up, but Beyonce usually wears her mom's glamorous designs both on and off the stage. In fact, Beyonce loves her mom's fashionable creations so much that they've created a clothing line together called House of Dereon, which she calls "affordable couture." It features denim, sportswear, shoes and bags.

Becoming a Dreamgirl

Beyonce is all about the big hair, big heels and big jewels. You may not dress up as much as she does on a regular basis, but if you need some fashion inspiration for an upcoming school dance or a really special date, just check out Beyonce. Whether she's wearing a miniskirt or a floor-length evening gown, her outfits are always sparkly, shiny and colorful. And you'll never catch her in baggy duds cuz she accentuates her curves with figure-hugging fashions.

Beyonce Gone Wild

Beyonce can often be seen stepping out in fur coats. She even uses it in her House of Dereon collection, which caused a commotion with the animal rights group, PETA. They secretly placed the winning bid for an eBay auction that offered fans a chance to dine with Beyonce. But instead of enjoying the meal, PETA members confronted the bootylicious diva about wearing fur and using fur in her clothing line!

Is Beyonce a Better Singer or Actor?

  • Way better singer.
  • She can act much better than she sings.
  • She's not very good at either.
  • I think she's a great singer and actor.

It's important to think about why you are wanting to wear the makeup. If you are wanting it to impress someone, then chances are makeup is not the solution. When you are in middle school the need to impress escalates greatly. You do not always need to impress people with your looks. Impress them with your mind, blow them away with how good you are in a certain topic or how fast you read your assigned readings. Being pretty is something everyone strives to be, but how about being pretty smart, pretty funny, pretty kind, pretty helpful. There's all kinds of pretty. Now, if you are doing your makeup because it's fun and something you enjoy doing then by all means do it. Makeup can be an art, no matter what people say. I have many friends who's general art skills have increased because they can do their winged eyeliner perfectly, or their contour is just right. The point to all this is simple. Do the makeup for you, not for others. Please talk to your mom respectively about the topic and see if she changes her mind, and please do not be discouraged if she doesn't.  I hope this helps.
