Casting Call - Making the Band 4

Danity Kane, Da Band and O-Town made the bands in the past. Now, it's your turn! Auditions for Making the Band 4 start on January 17, 2007 so warm up those vocal chords ASAP!

Making the Band 4 - Calling All Males

Step aside girls, cuz it's time for the guys to shine! Diddy is looking for a few talented guys to mold into his latest and greatest band. If you're a guy who sings, dances and has that special star quality, then here's your chance to wow Diddy to the max. Just like the American Idol auditions, you have to sing a capella. And when Diddy says sing, you really gotta sing cuz he's not looking for any rappers.

Making the Band 4 - When and Where to Audition

Open casting calls are being held in the following cities.
  • Los Angeles, CA - January 17, 2007
  • Houston, TX - January 20, 2007
  • Orlando, FL - January 23, 2007
  • Atlanta, GA - January 27, 2007
  • Chicago, IL - January 30, 2007
  • Detroit, MI - February 3, 2007
  • New York City, NY - February 6, 2007
  • Making the Band 4 - Can't Make It? No Problem!

For the first time ever, the producers of Making the Band are giving you the option of auditioning for them without even facing them. If you can't attend a casting call, just make an audition video and send it in!

Making the Band 4 - Round One

Although you get to sing in the comfort of your bedroom, you can't sing just any song. You have to sing one of the following three songs.
  • Can You Stand the Rain by New Edition
  • My Cherie Amour by Stevie Wonder
  • Got to Be There by Michael Jackson
  • Making the Band - Round Two
So you can sing, but can you dance? If you can bust out your best moves and put Usher to shame, you might be selected! But here's the catch - you're not out to impress Diddy just yet. Your audition video will be viewed by the general public, who gets to vote on whether you stay or go, so it's important to get as many people as you can to vote for your video. Twenty five guys will make it to Round Two, but only three will make the final cut to meet Diddy.

  • Head to the official site of Making the Band 4 on MTV for more info. Remember, auditions start on January 17, 2007. Good luck!

It's really nice that your mother supports it, that always helps!! I'm glad that your family enjoys his company as well. Being 16 while he's 20 is alright. It's a slight odd age gap. But, I think as long as you both are ready, it's alright. Make sure you're mature and safe with your choices though. Personally, I think you should wait until you're closer to at least, 17. But, as long as you two are smart about what you're doing, it should be alright when it come around to it.

You can still talk to him when it comes to your anxiety attacks and all of that because I have those too every night so I know how it feels, but maybe you should wait. But at the end of the day it's your decision I'm just here to give advice

I feel like that too. My best friend will always hang out with her 'new friends' that I have a really bad opinion about. My friend will treat me rudely all the time and sometimes make fun of me with her friends. But, when I needed her the most in my life, she was there for me, and I told her how I felt. She says that she just wants to hang out with more people and apologized, people can be a little teasy at times.  Also, after seeing each other for a long time, people make new friends and start hanging out with them more, it doesn't mean that she doesn't like you.  This may be different for you, but just tell her about it, she will have to know you feelings at one point.  Hope I helped you.
