It’s Monday and that means it’s time for the scoop on video games with the latest game news! This week we have the 411 on what’s up in Poke-land with the Pokemon TCG State Championships and the free prizes you can get by playing the Pokemon card game. Plus, we have a new Spectrobes Webisode – a free video for you to download. Pokemon TCG State Championships News

Pokemon Trainers, get ready! It was just announced that the Pokemon TCG State Championships are coming. They’ll be held from March 3-11, 2007 in stores all across North America. There are three divisions you can compete in - Junior Division if you were born in 1996 or earlier, Senior Division if you were born between 1992 and 1996 or Master Division if you’re an old fart who was born in 1991 or earlier. If you enter, you get a free State Championships promo card and a commemorative pin, plus winners can go on to the National Championships in July 2007 and then to the Pokemon TCG World Championships.

Spectrobes Webisode #4 Video Download and Input Card News

This DS game puts you in control of Rallen and Jeena of the Nanairo Planetary Patrol as they uncover the mystery of the Spectrobes and use them to battle the forces of the invading Krawl. Not only can you collect and train all the cool Spectrobes creatures, you can also use collectible trading cards to unlock video game power-ups! Plus, the DS’ Wi-Fi abilities let you download stuff, play with your friends and even hop online for more Spectrobes fun. It’s all coming in March 2007, so chill for a bit and download the Spectrobes Webisode #4 for the latest video of all the action – including a peek at the villain behind the Krawl invasion! Right-click and save this new video to your desktop.
