Jordan Pruitt Interview (pg. 2)
Sindy: As a young woman in the entertainment industry, there are a lot of expectations about how you should look. How do you deal with them while keeping a healthy self image?
Jordan Pruitt: I'm not very concerned about image - I mean, I don't wear very much make-up, I don't like doing my hair. But I do workout everyday and try to eat healthy.... I think that Hollywood is based too much on image, but I'm hoping to change that.
Sindy: Who's the coolest person you've worked with to-date?
Jordan Pruitt: Keith Thomas is definitely the coolest - he's my manager and producer and, you know, he's the one who really made my dreams come true. He made my whole album and will make the rest of my albums with me for the rest of my life.
Sindy: Do you have an ambitions to act?
Jordan Pruitt: I think if a cool movie comes up - whatever God has planned for me, I'm up for it.
Sindy: What kind of music did you listen to growing up?
Jordan Pruitt: I listened to all Christian music, pretty much. I got my first pop CD when Britney Spears' Baby One More Time came out and I listened to Christina Aguilera.
Sindy: What are you listening to these days?
Jordan Pruitt: I absolutely love Natasha Bedingfield, love JoJo, Celine Dion. I love Thomas Newman, he's a composer.
Sindy: What advice would you give to young people who want to pursue a career in the music industry?
Jordan Pruitt: I would probably say that when it gets tough, I don't think you should give up. You should try your hardest. There's always room for improvement. I guess, just follow your dreams.
