The Last Mimzy is a movie about a couple of kids who find some out of this world toys that they use to save the future of the human race. Get the review right here.

Who said superheroes were the only ones who could save the world? Regular kids Noah and Emma put that theory to the test when they discover some toys that will turn the whole universe upside down.

The Last Mimzy - A Message from the Great Beyond

Noah is your average kid who struggles with school and is more interested in playing video games than studying for a science test. But when he and his imaginative little sis, Emma, discover a box of mystical toys at their vacation house, things in both Noah and Emma brains start to click. The toys are mostly strange-looking rocks and crystals, except for the stuffed rabbit that Emma finds named Mimzy. With Mimzy's help, Noah and Emma are about to change the future!

The Last Mimzy - Meeting of the Minds

Within days of finding the toys, Noah and Emma realize that they've been sent for a reason. Emma and Mimzy form a friendship and she learns that she has been sent by scientists from the future to bring back untainted DNA to help cure humans before they die from their polluted world. If this sounds complicated, it's cuz it is! The scientists have been sending Mimzy's (artificially intelligent stuffed rabbits) back into the past for years, but this is the last of its kind. Without Noah and Emma's help, the future of the human race looks bleak.

The Last Mimzy - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The adults in this movie aren't always [KWLINK ]very supportive[/KWLINK] of the kids, but that doesn't stop Noah and Emma from trying to complete their mission. With the help of Noah's science teacher and his new-age girlfriend, they might just have a chance at keeping the human race alive. The Last Mimzy is a science fiction story that gets a bit complicated at times, but its visual effects and magical elements will definitely hold your attention.

The Last Mimzy - The Bottom Line

Anyone who likes a good sci-fi flick will love The Last Mimzy. Do Noah and Emma complete the mission they were sought out for? Will the human race continue to survive well into the future? You'll have to watch the movie to find out, but one thing it does spell out loud and clear is that if humans don't start treating the planet better, we're in for some serious trouble.

It included a lot of mature themes and it really connects with today's older youth. You mean violence wise? Not just that, but the show tells the stories of the characters finding themselves. Take Asami for example. A lot of people have a late relative and another relative involved in some kind of trouble. She had her relationships AND family business to take care of, which relates to some of today's youth who feel like they have the whole world on their shoulders. They're starting to have to take responsibility for things they can hardly manage, and seeing the triumph of a character like Asami is truly inspiring. Her mother's dead, her father's in prison, her boyfriend was stolen from her, and her business nearly failed. But she did not give up, which sends a positive message to today's generation of teens. Mako was not stolen from Asami he just chose Korra and everyone knows that thats what people wanted. As messed up as that sounds its the truth.
