The weekend was packed! The new Shrek the Third movie arrived, Sony threw a party and, in the biggest piece of video game news this year, Blizzard announced Starcraft II! We have the 411 on Sony's party, the rumbles of an approaching Godzilla, more Shrek game trailers for you to download - and info about Starcraft II. Starcraft II - Blizzard Announces New Starcraft Game!
One of the greatest games of all time, Starcraft, is finally getting a sequel! The game of futuristic warfare has the Terrans battling the psychic Protoss and the bug-like Zerg swarm. Starcraft II powers-up the action into 3D with incredible new units including Protoss Immortals, Warprey, Phoenix, Colossus, Stalkers and even a new Mothership. The Terrans have jetpack using Reavers and the Zerg have a new exploding critter, but those two teams don't have much else so far cuz the game isn't done yet. Blizzard's final video also showed a quick clip of two of the heroes from the original Starcraft - Jim Raynor and Kerrigan! Want to see a video of Starcraft II in action? The legendary monster is coming to the Nintendo DS, Wii and the Sony PSP courtesy of Atari! It's going to be a giant monster throwdown with you controlling big green or one of the other monsters and duking it out in a huge city. The destruction will be massive and the action intense.
