Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD Review

Harry Potter is growing up and his arch nemesis, Voldemort, is getting ready to attack. Dark magic, traitors and death make this one of the darkest Harry Potter flicks yet. Find out if it's worth checking out with Kidzworld's review.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - He's Baaack
Summer vacation hasn't exactly been as relaxing for Harry Potter as most kids. He's been
attacked by dementors, he's threatened with expulsion from Hogwarts, he sees Voldemort every time he
closes his eyes and the worst part is the
Ministry of Magic doesn't believe him that the dark lord is back!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Follow the Leader
As if having the
most powerful dark wizard after you isn't bad enough, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts
teacher, Dolores Umbridge, is pushing Ministry of Magic
propaganda by denying the existence of Voldemort. She's also forbidden students from
learning magic to protect themselves. So, Ron and Hermoine convince Harry to
rally the troops and take training into their own hands.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Fight to the Finish
Massive battles against
powerful villains is never an easy task - but Harry is tired of
being pushed around by He Who Shall Not Be Named. He's willing to risk everything to
ensure the safety of those he loves, like his BFF's
Ron and Hermoine, his godfather
Sirius Black and - of course - his new love interest
Cho Chang. Will Harry prevail? Or will Voldemort be
too much for him to handle?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - DVD Features
DVD bonus features are always a huge part of this
magical series, and the second disc of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
doesn't disappoint. You'll find nine extra scenes, two featurettes and an interactive segment to help pass the time before Harry's
next adventure hits theaters. The first featurette follows Natalia Tena, who plays Tonks, through a typical day on set. The second is
almost a movie itself! The Hidden Secrets of Harry Potter is 43 minutes of special footage and cast and crew commentary from the entire series. Finally, Harry Potter: The Magic of Editing, gives you an introduction to film editing and then lets you edit your very own scene. The Harry Potter phenomenon marches on with this two disc DVD. You can read the
book, watch the movie, get
behind the scenes, or play filmmaker yourself! What could be better?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Bottom Line
The
Order of the Phoenix is
an important part of the bigger Harry Potter picture but as a stand alone film it
isn't the best one. But even though it's not as
action-packed or suspenseful as previous movies, doesn't mean it's not worth checking out. Order of the Phoenix will definitely
leave you craving more of the
legendary wizard - only a year and a half to wait for
the next installment!
