Microsoft just announced a price drop for their Xbox 360 game system! Everything from the lame-o Xbox 360 Core System (no HD = no saving games!) to the regular Xbox 360 and even the Xbox 360 Elite (stylin' black case plus 120GB HD) is cheaper now. The popular MapleStory online RPG is getting powered up with a new MapleStory iTrading Card Game from Wizards of the Coast (the people behind Magic, Neopets and Star Wars Miniatures). The MapleStory iTCG is going to be a dueling card game that comes in 34-card Starter Packs and 9-card Booster Packs, each with a code you can use online to unlock bonus stuff for your MapleStory characters. The world of Pokemon is getting bigger cuz the Pokemon Trading Figure Game is coming! Pokmeon USA has announced the figures are hitting North America on September 19. It brings more than 40 different Pokemon and trainers to life with plastic figures, like the Star Wars Miniatures game. You build a team of six Pokemon and battle another player by moving around a Pokemon Arena, spinning your Pokemon to use their attacks and unleashing card powers with your Pokemon Trainer as you try to reach the other side of the board.A $15 Starter Set gives you an arena to play on, trainer cards, four figures and one trainer. Boosters add new figures to your collection, $3.50 for one, $7 for two (including a mystery fig) and a Trainer card, or $10 for three figures (including a random mystery figure and one of Chimchar, Piplup or Turtwig from Pokemon Diamond & Pearl) and a Trainer card. Viva Pinata - Party Animals on DS!
The sweet action of the award-winning Viva Pinata game for Xbox 360 is taking another step forward with Viva Pinata for DS. It brings all the critters from the Xbox 360 game (plus a few more) to life in the palm of your hand as you manage your Pinata garden. You also get a Sandbox mode where you can play with all the available Pinatas easily, and an Episodes mode, which lets you play along with the characters from the TV show. We'll have more news soon.
