47 RONIN is the first book written by the Sprouse brothers. We have a review of this adventure novel.

Just Ordinary Teens

Just like the Sprouse Brothers, the main characters in 47 R.O.N.I.N. are twins. The story is set in modern-day New York City, where Mitch and Tom Hearn are two rich but ordinary 15-year olds. Mitch is the computer nerd and brainiac, while Tom is the cool skateboarder who loves video games and chicks. They're normally routine life gets interrupted when their father suddenly vanishes. They are suspicious something is wrong, and those feeling are confirmed when a ninja attacks them in a subway station. From there, the twins find out that their father and butler, Mr. Chance, have been keeping a big secret from them.

Young Heroes

After their subway encounter with the ninja, the boys go to Mr. Chance for answers. They find out their father and butler were part of the Japanese gang R.O.N.I.N. Mitch and Tom join R.O.N.I.N. in order to get their father back from a rival gang. Along the way they meet Laura Ting, a young female kung fu expert who is in a similar position. Together they find themselves in all sorts of adventures and battles in the underground New York scene.

    If you are a fan of the Spouse Bros. then you are not going to be disappointed with this book. The characters in 47 R.O.N.I.N. closely resemble Cole and Dylan Sprouse and there is great action! The plot is solid and there is a lot of suspense. It's a pretty easy read too, so once you start this book it is hard to put it down. 47 R.O.N.I.N. is definitely a winner in our eyes!
