PC - Atlantis: The Lost Empire - Trial by Fire

Milo & The Brave Crew.
Ancient writings say that Atlantis sunk in one day and one night. This game will make you wish it had stayed sunk. You play as Milo Thatch - the brainiac explorer who's looking for the lost city of Atlantis - it's up to you to lead him to it. If this is what being an adventurer is like I'll pass, thanks.

The game is full of problems. The biggest one is the levels. They're tiny! You'll be able to finish any level in about five to 10 minutes with no worries. The puzzles aren't hard, the enemies are total wimps and unless you've seen the Disney movie Atlantis you won't know what's going on. You don't even feel like you're ever in danger, the hordes of enemies couldn't beat up stormtroopers, never mind a hero.

A secret map, where does it lead?

You'd think there'd be fantastic Disney animation to make up for the lame levels and bad guys. Nope, the graphics aren't that good. They're a little dark and the bad guys aren't very detailed but the backgrounds look good.

The sound is the best part of the game. The actual voices from the movie are used for the characters and the tunes and effects are pretty good.

Bottom Line: Yet another big-name game bites the dust. Your best bet is to score the free demo CD if you want to try it. Disney's official Atlantis page has the info. Click the link to Atlantis on the left side of the oval and read the details on how to get your free CD.
