After weeks and weeks of rain, the sun’s come out and it finally feels like spring! It’s about time… after all, the first day of spring was about a month ago!

It seems like ages since I’ve gone surfing, so Finn and I hit the beach on the weekend. The water was still pretty cold even though we had on wetsuits, but we really didn’t mind… we were just so happy to surf in the ocean and chill at the beach on a warm, sunny day after all that miserable rain!

I’ve also been busy with my other passion – volunteering at the SPCA. Dog-walking is a lot of fun, but I’m also interested in helping out in other ways, so my supervisor suggested I get involved with SPCA Day this year since it’s the 142nd anniversary since the organization was founded. I never knew about it before, but it’s a day to dress up in orange colors to raise awareness in your community about preventing cruelty to animals. Did any of you go orange for SPCA Day this year?
