one poor dog

Once upon a time,
there lived a poor dog who lived in a poor
village. he had a red blanket that wrapped his body all rough 'n tight. that poor dog never slept in one night. all his food was rocks with icky little worms. no ham, no treats, not even a feast was left for him. all the villagers laughed at him for hours 'n hours. until one little girl didn't laugh at all. she was Mary sweetheart, who never laughed at one little dog. she at once picked up that dog and said, "oh poor you! you need a better home then this old, small, 'n nasty little place!" mary took him to her small cottage. she ran, she skipped, she even twirled 'n dipped! then finally, the poor dog found a home. well, you may think so.. but Mary's mother came out of that cottage door and had a big angry face at her daughter. "MARY!" she grouched. "I thought i told you that no animal will enter this house!" her mother said. "but mama," mary cried. "he's poor and needs a loving home!" Mary's mother thought for a bit. she didn't want her daughter to feel blue like a bad day. so she said, "alright mary. let 'em stay." Mary's face lit up with excitement. she grabbed the dog with her 2 hands and called him spot. spot sweetheart he was called right when. he never was poor ever again. after 10 years mary went off to college. all was left was spot and her mama. "go get the newspaper boy!" Mary's mother shouted. spot ran down the block and brought back mail. "good spot!" spot got a treat everyday, and every night. he soon was well until... mary got back home with a cat in her hands. "mama! mama! look!" she shouted so happy. "a friend for spot!" Mary's mother was angry once again. she asked, "oh honey. we can't! is she poor or healthy?" mary cried, "of course mama! she is poor! and i think spot does need a friend." and again, her mother had that feeling from 10 years ago. thinking how spot came along. she said, "yes. yes you may have this cat. but what food do we have for her to eat?" spot growled 'n growled when he saw that cat. his eyes exploded like a volcano in Hawaii! "bark! bark!" spot barked. "hiss! hiss!" the cat hissed back. "stop it 'n get along!" Mary's mother yelled once again. the two got along weeks later. the cat was named Marcie, and you know who. but alas, spot was almost dieing one day. "mama! spot has a fever!" mary cried. her mother reached the telephone and called the vet. right away, the vet knocked on the door and entered the house. "he looks sick to me." he said. "oh he can't! he can't!" mary cried again. the vet checked Marcie for flees or nasty diseases. "oh.." he said. "looks like this cat gave the poor dog a sick disease." mary slapped that cat on her back so hard she hissed! "hiss!" Marcie hissed at mary. "bad kitty bad! go! scatter away and never come back!" mary yelled. Marcie never left. she just sat on down with her tail fuzzed up. "if she stays, i think your little dog is gonna die." the vet whispered. mary cried then said goodbye to the vet. then mary said, "go away i said!" Marcie didn't give a bit. she never left ever since. spot was dieing very easily. he couldn't bark, cry, or even wine. he just sat there, with despair. after 2 weeks, the dog was gone. mary sobbed when he was left siting in his chair. she never had a dog who died. "why! why! that cat killed my dog!" and then finally, Marcie felt sorry for herself and ran away. "oh now you do it!" mary grouched. until one eye peeked out, and it was spot. "spot?!" mary cried with joy. "he's alive! mama! mama! he's by jolly alive!" Mary's mother felt a glad feeling coming along. she hugged mary and one alive spot. so, if you ever feel down and alone, always trust a pet to save one home. thank you for reading my truthful story.
