My favourite classic rock bands are Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.

Well, I don't really think there was a best. I mean, everybody has their own opinions. I would say some of the best classic rock bands of all time are Journey, Rush, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles.. but those are only some. I really couldn't make up my mind as to which was the absolute best.

Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones.. I mean, You can't really choose the "best" man, thats just too hard and everyone liked different bands.

There is way too many but Led Zepplin, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Greatful Dead, and soooo many others are somewhere near the top.

Actually it is a band.
He performs with a group under that name, it might be his namesake but it's still a band.
