ok so i like this guy in one of my classes and me and my friends all thought he liked me. so we got his best friend to ask him who he liked. well, apparently he wouldnt say, so my bestie asked him in science if he liked me. obviously this was a dead giveaway that i like him-he claimed he didnt like me, but guys can lie...cant they? later we found out apparently that it was some girl from another school that he liked. but really, how often is that really true? he would sit by me during movies in class, work in my group during worktime in class, and seems to change his route to his classes so he can pass by me more. i should mention that he's super shy...should i just give up?
im sorry if this is kind of confusing. im the one who's dealing with it, and it's confusing ME! o.O

noo. dont give up. the best way to find out if its true or not is to ask him yourself... just come up to him when hes alone. and when your alone. and ask him yourself.

Its obivius that he likes you! I know a few signs:
Sitting next to you and all your friends on purpose(Like a date, but its during school, you are NOT alone.)
Passing by you alot (Most of time staring at u...)
Studing with either just you (Best) are with ur friends and u (still good)
Trust me 3 guys liked me, they did the same things.(Not at the same time, I broke up with all of them...)

u think? i mean, he's shy, and he's never really talked to me, but i dont wanna base it on that. dont u think if he knows i like him, he'll make a move or something? the other day, he comes up to my friend and was like, i know she likes me, and shes like, how? and he said that his friend told him. and shes like, ok? and he was like, im just sayin. is that supposed to mean anything?

i wouldnt know about flirting because i try to stay away from it.

i know this sounds dumb but if a guy is my type than he will skip the whole flirting part and grow the ballz to ask me out. i just cant handle the flirty part, i dont get it.

many guys try to flirt with me, but like i said my type of guy would just ask me so i wouldnt know about this.

No, you shouldn't. I liked this guy and I thought he liked me too. But he kept denying it and denying it. But it was pretty obvious, because he was always saying hi when I passed him in the lunch room and we always talked. Then one day...I stepped up and told me I liked him. He said "Interesting" and walked in the lunch room. Then one day I thought I heard him say he liked some other girl. I was a little heart broken, but then his best friend told him to tell me. And then today he finally told me. He likes me too!

just ask him out

i would just ask him out, but see, he's like painfully shy...and he never really talks to any girls, let alone me. and now he especially wont talk to me because he knows i like him. whether he likes me or not, its awkward. but yeah. the only reason i thought he liked me was because he seemed to want to hang out with me and my friends during class and would come sit by us during worktime with his own friends. and he also sat right next to me during a movie, when there were several other seats available. but im just afraid to ask him out now because ever since he found out i liked him he's seemed to avoid me...and he doesnt come near me that much anymore. oh, and he doesnt stare at me like he used to. idk whats going on!

oh, and we got new seats in french, the one class i have with him, and he sits right in front of me.
