You should try H.O.N. (House of Night) I've read all of them up until the most current one. There's eight of them (so far) and they're really good.

Bye Kw. Nice knowing you.

Most of the books I read are inappropriate for young kids.  Just saying.

"Be jealous."
"Urm.. Why?"
"Because I'm a unicorn."
Photoshop.

Suzanne Collins also wrote the Gregor books, and I own each of them! She is a great author, and can make anything appropriate for adults and kids. BOOK 1- Gregor the Overlander Find that one and them all. It's not a very popular series because they were published in 2000,I think. You could try some Sarah Dessen books. Those are romatic books, really. Or maybe you could read Glimmerglass, By Jenna Black. It's the first of the series, about a girl who is half Faerie. Lots of faerie books are silly and for kids, but I just finished this one and it is full of romance, adventure....It's great!
