1) Generation II.
2) Falkner.
3) Fire! Can't take the heat? Then stay out of the kitchen! My favorite starter of all time is Cyndaquil. Hands down.

[1] gens I, II, and IV were all sooo good... i'll say the first, for nostalgia.
