to play the game you have to put 2 decks of cards together and then you can play and here is what and haw you play first if you have the card ace 123456789 Jack  than a queen than queen that is called a run and you can break them  but it must have 3 card on it that make sense. If you have spade 4 club4 and a heart 4 than you can put those together and you can have up too four card on it but they can not be the same they are not like a run because the run have to have the same suit. here are some of the rules if you break it you can not put it back together and you can not have the same suit on spade 4 club4 and a heart4 and (that can work with any suit). have fun playing the game RUMMY-O

I love Rummy it's 1 of my fav games. Another game u should try is a game called speed. It's when you turn 2 cards over and you have to see if you can put a card 1 above that number or 1 below it. You have to put yours down before the other player
