I breathed in on the inhaler, and held my breath for thirty seconds, as my doctor had taught me. Then, I let it out and took another puff, holding my breath for another thirty seconds. When I let it out, I sighed at the relief that I could breathe.
"Thanks Rus. You pretty much saved my life there. Another minute and I would have been out cold."
I took in deep breaths, savoring them. It had felt like an eternity since my last breath before my scene, even though it was only one minute.

I felt bad, and guilty. I had caused Rusty to leave early. Natalie wouldn't be happy with me, considering we couldn't practice without our lead guitarist... I suppose Kai wouldn't mind. He could just go home and return to his nap. I felt like doing the same...

Kai raised an eyebrow at Lizzie before slowly standing up, "Well then, see ya." he spoke grabbing his nearby skateboard and heading out as well, "I'm leaving to then, Nat." he spoke, not bothering to turn around but giving her a small wave before dropping his board and turning his music back on, putting a ###### in his mouth and heading off back towards the house him and his brother were sharing.
