kaching - This will add 1000 simoleons to your active household.
motherlode - This will add 50,000 simoleons to your active household.
testingCheatsenabled true - This will add a lot of cheats... Start off by pressing shift-click #### #### box.
buydebug - This can only be activated with the 'testingCheatsenabled true' cheat. This will add a lot of stuff you can't normally buy so go and check out buy mode..

These are all the cheats I use, I have some expansion packs so I'm not too sure if all the cheats will work... I hope this was helpful

Familyfunds*Surname* *the money you want*- And you SHOULD get the amount you asked for

This cheats for sims 2
First of all to open the cheat box you will need to press CTRL+SHIFT+C
For 1,000 you will need to write kaching
For 50,000 you will need to write motherlode
To close the cheat box you will need to write exit
  these all should work i have tried them when playing sims 2 they all worked
