I just got steam and all the games seem really good, but I don't know what to get. Any help?

Aren't most of the free games on there demos? I'm probably wrong... I heard Emily Is Away is freee on there (Watch Jack play it to get an idea) .

Creativerse is OKAY, but you're limited if you don't have pro. Still pretty nice, though. Sandbox.
Trove is OKAY, but if you don't spend money, you'll have a lot of trouble getting anywhere. MMORPG.
Dragomon Hunter is cute, but there's things you need to buy with in-game credit you buy with real money, although the game doesn't require it. Super fun to just goof around with friends in it. MMORPG.
Don't touch Florensia . "MMORPG".
MachineCraft is difficult to work with, but you don't have to buy anything at all. You can always just download models from the Steam Workshop, though. I've heard the community's nasty.
Robocraft , similar to MachineCraft, is hard to advance in unless you buy Premium (temporarily for various prices, $40 for life) but if you have friends who play it, it gets pretty fun, so long as you aren't bent on building the perfect robot. It's completely PvP and you build your own robot. Sometimes, the devs give out free one-day-to-one-week Premium codes available to the whole community, but you'll have to watch the livestreams they do on occasion. The community is rude; if your team wins, they'll call you hackers, and if your team loses, someone on your team will call everyone else 'noobs'. Or maybe the other team will. It's very unbalanced in matchmaking.
Gear Up is like Robocraft, but you don't need skill to build a robot. Just as hard to advance.

Those are all the ones I've actually played. If you look around, you might find one you like, if none of those catch your interest.

RP hiatus until June 8th. If you think this is holding a public RP back, you can remove me from the roster.

How did I forget Cubic Castles?!

Okay, that game is pretty dang adorable, but if you want to get rich fast, you'll have to either work hard for rich people first in their shops or whatever, or you'll have to spend a few dollars. On Christmas, the admins gave every single person ("Qbee") 7.5k-ish "cubits" (in-game currency). It's so fun, even if you don't want to be rich. It's a sort of MMORPG, but you can build in your own realm. Of course, larger sizes require some cubits spent, but the starter realm is sufficient. If you need any in-game tips, I know a lot more than I probably should about the game mechanics and where to look for what, so feel free to ask me questions if you end up playing the game and enjoying it.

I honestly play a lot of quick indie games like Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion or Emily is Away.

Usually demos are always free if you want a look into a game, even major ones like Life is Strange, Dying Light, Among the Sleep, and Fran Bow .

You can also find a lot of interactive novels like Voices from the Sea.
(My personal favorite is Nekopara , but it's not quite free-)

Honestly, along with Steam, I would recommend looking around on the site itch.io. It has tons of free, full games!!
