um i am a cheerleader and ya cheerleading is a sport beacuz

In a dictionary you may find the word "sport" defined as a "physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively." It is the last part of the definition "engaged in competitively" that makes considering cheerleading a sport

yup i agree cheerleading is considered a sport but beleave what u want thats what im guna say!

cheerleading is sports...yes it sounds girly but it takes energy, skills and fitness...its like soccer u compete against other team...when u play soccer it takes energy and skills ..in cheerleading u can compete against another cheerleading team its like soccer....but the difference is in cheerleading it includes tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers, and stunting..but in soccer u don't do that...and maybe alot of u guys don't think cheerleading is a sport and its easy well u should try it...this is just my opinion!!!
