Actually, cheerleading is basically gymnastics and singing, so it technically is a sport, seeing as gymnastics is a sport.

1.) any sport takes strength right? its takes lots of strength to lift the girls and to flip and catch them.
2.) sports is exercise right? cheerleading can give u muscles and help u work out tobecome skinnier and such.
3.) all sports compete right? there are cheerleading compititions all over the world!

dont get me wrong, i dont say this because im a cheerleader, im not.

wat ev sis its a sport if not then y is it classified as sport ?

Cheerleading is the most frightening sport, but still a sport. What? Just cause it has girls it's not?

You're actually right, but I wouldn't want to gain credibility. Cheerleading IS a sport because we are amazing athletes. Lots of people cannot do things that we cheerleaders can. You need strenght, flexibility, and spirit to be a cheerleader. Cheerleading is a sport, look it up, cheerleading can be very hard and dangerous.
